Garlean noble turned pirate and ship's captain in the service of Admiral Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn of Limsa Lominsa.

Born Cassandra wir Baelsar, daughter of Gaius van Baelsar from an arranged marriage when he first was granted his van. Cassandra was born and raised in Garlemald as the eldest of her family and with all the rights and privileges that entailed...... Until the Echo granted her a vision of a sky on fire above Garlemald and her newfound abilities attracted all the wrong types of attention and she was forced to flee just after the Calamity and the events of 1.0.After a series of blunders and misadventures, she found herself in Limsa Lominsa and in dire need of work and so turned to adventuring until she garnered the attention of the Maelstrom and the Admiral herself.As a member of the elite team of adventurers known as the Warriors of Light (mostly due to the fact that they have a talent called the Echo as well as were chosen to carry Crystals of Light by the Mothercrystal herself), Cassandra now aids the Scions... when her duties as a ship's captain don't get in the way.
